What people are saying about Stonehenge

A great journey into the history of Stonehenge and Bath.

Our tour guide, Malcolm, made time fly during the long coach rides with his witty and informational bits. We had someone with us who had a disability so we moved at a slower pace. Due to this we felt like we had not enough time at Stonehenge to have a look around and see the museum there. I was under the impression that the fee covered the entrance to the Roman Bath Houses but it does not. We had to pay £17 extra to enter the Roman Bath Houses. Regardless, that was great idea because there was lots to see and learn there. We spent 2 of our 3.5 hours there. We then decided to do afternoon tea at the Pump Room, which was great but it took up the rest of our time and we were not able to see the Abbey nearby. Time was tight but regardless we saw lots and enjoyed the trip.

Excellent to visit but time allowed was to short.

I was on crutches during this tour. Time allowed was limited to two hour from the moment the bus was parked. It was necessary to travel about a quarter mile to the bathrooms/office site. From there we had to board a shuttle which drove us to Stonehenge (about a mile away from the office site; 15 minute drive). Due to being on crutches, it took the full two hours and I barely made it back to the tour bus on time. Still it was a great experience actually visiting this historic site. Would do it again, hopefully next time without crutches.

Not enough time to see this marvellous monument.

The tour is well organized except from the meeting point which is not clear at all. Besides, the meeting point is in a commercial centre where you have to pay for all or go. If you want to go to the toilet you have to buy sthg in a shop or coffee-shop, and you cannot sit down on the stairs-steps because a security agent calls your attention. The driver is excellent. The only fault of the tour itself is that we hardly have time to visit this momument and the souvenirs store. Next time I will do the travel on my own to Stonehenge.

Had a great tour - simple but perfect way to visit Stonehenge!

Ideal tour for everyone who just wants to quickly visit and admire Stonehenge. You have two hours to explore Stonehenge and its visitor center by yourself. They also hand out audio guides and hence you do not miss out on any infos even without a proper tour guide. Furthermore many things are described and shown at the visitor center as well. Our driver Alvio was great and gave as well many good information and hints about interesting things/buildings along the road. I really enjoyed this tour!

Nice site, but the driver Massimo really made our day!

Well organized tour, allowing the right amount of time to visit the site. But what really made our day was the driver Massimo, who also acted as a tour guide in London giving us an overview and telling us nice stories about the city. This is what we really consider going above and beyond and we really appreciated this extra touch. thank you Massimo! Caterina & Gaia
