Amazing view, line skip great but bit of a let down

There are some amazing views from the top & the (I think original) bells are on display and pretty spectacular but if you're looking for a bit of history this is not it. Unless you take a guide there's no info about the tower besides a phone in the corner which for a fee will you about the experiments Galileo performed from there before it collapsed in 1902. We found that out doing our own research later, as it all felt lacking in real history and the new and the old are side by side. Though we did get some great photos, it is essentially an expensive lift ride to a modern viewing platform, with whatever they managed to find in the rubble tacked up there for good measure.

An Actual Skip-the-Line for a Can’t Miss

Some tours SAY skip the line, but you have to stand in the skip-the-line lines - and I get it... these attractions are crowded like Disney World! But this one really felt like a skip-the-line - it’s a special door on the side of the bell tower and you scoot right into the elevator ahead of all the people waiting in the line. I will also say that the tower is a definite can’t-miss in Venice. The panoramic view is spectacular and the tower is where Galileo “expanded the horizons” using his telescope. So, I highly recommend the sight AND this ticket!

efficient way to get in. spectacular view

The views are spectacular and took my breath away. You really get a feel for Venice as a whole from up there. I was also in the tower as the bells rang which was exciting, deafening and fascinating in equal measures. There was a long queue at the front but this ticket allowed me to dodge in through the side door and get in the lift almost straight away

Great tour, very nice guide, great historical information and views.

A great tour with a very nice guide. She gave us a lot of historical information and wonderful insides of the dome including a great view from the terrace of the dome on clock tour and Markus place. Also the tour through the palace was amazing. Even for my 13 year old daughter it was very exciting, although it was a 3 hours tour!
