The tour first takes you to a beautiful town of Skradin, situated on the mouth of the Krka River. The ride to Skradin will take about 75 minutes, during which the tour leader will give you some important and useful information and tips. In Skradin, relax a bit while the guide gets the park entry tickets for you without waiting in the line so you can enter the park carefree.

From there, you will board the local boat for a 25-minute ride to reach the park zone in the most spectacular way! In the park, join in on a guided tour or spend the entire day doing your own thing and exploring at your own pace. You can swim in the gorgeous waterfall pools, walk, relax and take some amazing photos of the unique nature in the park. We had heard about Croatia's National Parks, so we decided to try Krka. What a great idea on our park. The bus ride was easy and was a way of seeing outside of Split. Our guide made the trip interesting and the time flew by. We were a bit concerned that 8 hours was going to be too much, but it was just right. Seeing is believing and we would do it again.

Comfortable coach and good guide

We chose not to take the guided tour through the national park as we wanted to relax at the waterfalls and enjoy lunch at Skradin instead. The waterfalls are absolutely beautiful, but very crowded, even by mid September. If you wish to walk around easily, I recommend getting water shoes, as the rocks in the water are incredibly slippery even with flip flops on.

Lovely day at Krka NP

A little crowded but it's such a popular excursion from Split. Beautiful scenery and waterfall. Also spent time looking around Skradin. Didn't swim in the waterfall as didn't look a great place to swim and too many other things to see with limited time. Tour would have benefited from a little more guide info and history during the bus journey.
