What people are saying about Sóller
Great day and really good value for money with one great concern! When booking your trip your language is asked for. In my case English. What is not made clear is that the bus could have people with a number of different languages. I assumed that the guide would be in English. It turned out that there were 6 different languages required. The guide did a fantastic job. What drives you nuts is that the guide has to saying everything 6 times only 5 of which is understandable. So he never stopped for breath. As soon as he had pointed out a point of interest in 6 languages he had to start on the next point of interest. After the first hour of this it starts to become exceptionally annoying - there are no pleasant lulls! So, maybe I'm unrealistic of only 1 language per bus. Two possibly but six - give me a break!
This is an opportunity for people to see some places that they otherwise may not get. The boat, train and tram give great a views and the scenic drive through the mountains is an absolute must. There is however a slight downside to all this and that is there is so much packed into the day that you don't really get much of a chance to see Soller. Having said that it is still a lovely day out.
We had a brilliant trip, after nearly missing the bus. We had asked at the hotel were to wait and they gave us the wrong info, no fault of the tour. Only took one phone call for them to tell us were to go and got the bus to comeback for us. Thank You, my friend had never been to Majorca before and got to see the mountains, a boat trip, tram ride and the wooden train.
9 hours passed quickly with children aged 9 and 13 maybe laso because of changing vechiles and not being in the bus all day. Special extra points to our guide Pepe who speaks atleast four languages quickly and gives clear instructions about how to act to keep the schedule with a big group of tourists.
The tour was good, the guide was friendly and funny. Very grateful for the excellent bus driver who managed to get us through the mountains. I wish there was more time in Soller and less time in Inca..
