Then heading directly to Mutianyu Great Wall which will take about 1.5 hours, your tour guide will explain the related histories and stories on the way, sit back and enjoy the countryside sceneries along the way. Once arrive at the The Mutianyu Great Wall, you’ll take the cable car or ski lift up to the Wall, spend some time to hike up and down for about 1.5 hours at the various sections of the Wall, exploring the watch and beacon towers. After being picked up from your Beijing Downtown hotel(for private tour) or meet at the meeting point (for small group tour) or airport(Beijing capital International airport or Daxing International airport), you will begin exploring at the Tian’anmen Square. Use the convenient fast track entry, stroll through the massive square with your tour guide. Feel free to ask questions if you have. Next, heading to the Great Wall at Mutianyu section. During the 1.5 hours drive, your tour guide will explain the related histories and stories. Stop at the local restaurant for an authentic countryside style lunch. Upon arrival at Mutianyu, follow your tour guide to take either the cable car or ski lift up to the Wall which will save you valuable time, marvel at this world's longest manmade project, hike up and down with your tour guide to explore different watch towers, climb up to the tower to find out how military signal were send back in the past. Take as many photos as you like, after 1.5 hours hike, you will descend by ski lift/cable car or take the fun toboggan.(it might stop if it is raining) Then, you will be transferred back to your hotel/meeting point/airport in Beijing.

Meet in front of Summer Palace East Gate (or your Beijing downtown hotel's lobby if you choose the private tour). Then start your adventure at Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. (If you want a different start time--for private tour please let us know we will try our best to arrange) During your journey, your guide provides a historical overview of the landmark, which was built in 1750 as a royal residence and is widely considered a masterpiece of Chinese landscape design. Once you arrive at the Summer Palace, follow your guide to enter from the East Gate of the palace and visit some of the most important buildings, such as the Hall of Benevolence and Longevity, the Long corridor, the marble boat, the hall of Happiness and Longevity and more. Then you will travel back to the middle of the Summer Palace, continue with a visit to the Hall of Dispelling Clouds, which is situated on the central axis of Longevity Hill and is the heart of a succession of buildings used for celebrations. Note: Please book this tour at least 7 days in advance, because Tickets to the Forbidden City are tight all year round, once we failed to book the Forbidden City tickets, we will visit Jingshan Park on the south side of the Forbidden City, instead of the Forbidden City, standing at the top of the hill in Jingshan Park, you can still see the entire layout of the Forbidden City and the building structures. You’ll be picked up at your Beijing's hotel between 07:00 and 08:80 and begin the full-day tour of the city’s highlights at the Forbidden City, the largest and most powerful ancient imperial palace complex in the world, with 650 years of history to discover. Your guide will take you along the central axis of the site from south to north for an hour-long tour. After a short rest, you’ll continue on to the Temple of Heaven, the largest ancient imperial worship site in the world, where the emperors prayed for a good harvest for the farmers. On the way to Temple of Heaven, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about Chinese traditional medicine at a museum. Our guide Cindy Chen was great! She knew alot about the history of Tianamen, the forbidden city and the great wall. Even if we had to queue for some time she kept the conversation going and showed that she wanted the experience to be as good as possible for us!
