Meet your private guide in your hotel's lobby at your preferred time in Beijing. Then heading directly to Mutianyu Great Wall which will take about 1.5 hours, your tour guide will explain the related histories and stories on the way, sit back and enjoy the countryside sceneries along the way. Once arrive at the The Mutianyu Great Wall, you’ll take the cable car or ski lift up to the Wall, spend some time to hike up and down for about 1.5 hours at the various sections of the Wall, exploring the watch and beacon towers. Afterwards, stop at a local restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, continue to explore a well-preserved royal garden: the Summer Palace. Follow your tour guide to stroll around the garden, learn the stories and histories behind the buildings. Get to know the famous " Dragon Lady" and her life in the Summer Palace. After the tour finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel or other sites you want to go in Beijing city.

After being picked up from your Beijing Downtown hotel(for private tour) or meet at the meeting point (for small group tour) or airport(Beijing capital International airport or Daxing International airport), you will begin exploring at the Tian’anmen Square. Use the convenient fast track entry, stroll through the massive square with your tour guide. You will see these buildings in and around the square: Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum, the Monument of the People's Heroes, the Great Hall of The People, the National Museum, the Front Gates, the Old Beijing Railway Station and more while learning about the history of these buildings from your guide.  On the way to the Forbidden City, you will pass by the Gate of Heavenly Peace and Duanmen Gate. Then enter the Forbidden City from the Massive Meridian Gate. The Forbidden City was the political and ritual center of China for over 500 years. After its completion in 1420, the Forbidden City was home to 24 emperors, their families and servants during the Ming and the Qing dynasties.Spend 1.5 hours to explore the halls, courtyards and gardens. Your guide has an extensive knowledge of Chinese history, culture and architecture. They will share their knowledge with you in an informative, personable, and enjoyable manner. Feel free to ask questions if you have. Next, heading to the Great Wall at Mutianyu section. During the 1.5 hours drive, your tour guide will explain the related histories and stories. Stop at the local restaurant for an authentic countryside style lunch. Upon arrival at Mutianyu, follow your tour guide to take either the cable car or ski lift up to the Wall which will save you valuable time, marvel at this world's longest manmade project, hike up and down with your tour guide to explore different watch towers, climb up to the tower to find out how military signal were send back in the past. Take as many photos as you like, after 1.5 hours hike, you will descend by ski lift/cable car or take the fun toboggan.(it might stop if it is raining) Then, you will be transferred back to your hotel/meeting point/airport in Beijing.

Escape to the Summer Palace on a 3-hour trip with an expert guide. This is one of the best preserved imperial gardens in the world and it is the largest of its kind still in existence in China. From the meeting point, your tour guide will lead you the palace from the East Gate. This tour will uncover the history of the Summer Palace as a royal palace where Princess Dowager Cixi and the emperors once lived and handled court affairs, accepted laudations, and received foreign diplomats. Whether you are coming to whizz across its frozen lake in winter, soak up some sun in the spring or summer, or admire its splendid autumn colors, the palace makes for a fantastic day out.

Summer Palace is the most beautiful royal garden in China which is consist of three parts: political center, living quarter and garden, same design as the Forbidden City. But the garden takes up 3 quarters of the whole palace, huge artificial lake, longest wooden corridor painted with 14,000 paintings. Your guide will meet you in the McDonald of the meeting point. Your guide will show you the Hall of benevolence and longevity. Share interesting stories of Dragon lady Cixi and the design of this layout under Chinese Feng-shui. Your guide will show you the Hall of happiness and longevity which is the living quarter for dragon lady Cixi. Share her life stories with you, you will know why she was capable to be real ruler, even emperor was under her control. How luxurious her life was. Your guide will show you the beautiful garden with huge artificial lake, artificial hill and longest wooden corridor in the world. Walk beside the lake to the living quarters for emperor Guang Xu and his empress. Why an ambitious young emperor became a prisoner, why his favorite concubine was killed by dragon lady Cixi, and what is the true cause of emperor’s death. You will end the tour at the meeting point. Your guide will assist you to find the subway station or get you a taxi.

Meet in front of Summer Palace East Gate (or your Beijing downtown hotel's lobby if you choose the private tour). Then start your adventure at Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. (If you want a different start time--for private tour please let us know we will try our best to arrange) During your journey, your guide provides a historical overview of the landmark, which was built in 1750 as a royal residence and is widely considered a masterpiece of Chinese landscape design. Once you arrive at the Summer Palace, follow your guide to enter from the East Gate of the palace and visit some of the most important buildings, such as the Hall of Benevolence and Longevity, the Long corridor, the marble boat, the hall of Happiness and Longevity and more. Then you will travel back to the middle of the Summer Palace, continue with a visit to the Hall of Dispelling Clouds, which is situated on the central axis of Longevity Hill and is the heart of a succession of buildings used for celebrations. Admire the Tower of Buddhist Incense and other buddhist buildings. Your tour will ends at the north gate of the Summer Palace, after the tour you can choose to explore the Summer Palace on your own or travel back to your hotel by subway or by private car.

On the way to city stop to take photos at the iconic "Bird's Nest"– the Beijing National Stadium, where hosts many spectacular events of the 2008 Summer Olympics. Continue to the Drum Tower area, stroll around the local Hutong neighborhood. Get to know the local life and people. You also can explore the Houhai lake area and Nanluoguxiang Hutong allays. Day 3: Begins with the Temple of Heaven, once visited by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual prayer ceremonies. Here you can find different pandas playing, eating, sleeping at the Panda garden. Follow your tour guide to explore the area, learn some common knowledge about the giant panda. Beside the pandas, Beijing zoo also have red pandas, tiger, golden monkey, hippos, rhinoceros, giraffes and other animals. Let your tour guide know if you want to explore other parts of the Zoo. Move on to the Summer Palace where you can find picturesque pavilions, bridges, lakes and courtyards. The Summer Palace was the royal retreat for emperors fleeing the suffocating summer torpor of the old imperial city and later was the retirement playground of Empress Dowager Cixi. Learn many stories from your knowledgeable tour guide and explore most important halls and courtyards: Hall of Benevolence and Longevity, Hall of Joy and Longevity, Hall of Jade Billows, Long Corridor, Marble Boat and more. After lunch in the restaurant, move on to the Temple of Heaven. Not really a single temple, the Temple of Heaven is an altar complex with a history dating back to the early 15th century. It is the largest existing complex of ancient sacrificial buildings in China, a masterpiece of royal sacrificial buildings complexes and one of the best symbolic illustrations of Chinese cosmology. Marvel the amazing temples and learn how the emperors worship the god of heaven back in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Next, make your way over to the Pearl Market and shop for some souvenirs such as clothing, leather, jewelry, and electronics. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.

Note: Please book this tour at least 7 days in advance, because Tickets to the Forbidden City are tight all year round, once we failed to book the Forbidden City tickets, we will visit Jingshan Park on the south side of the Forbidden City, instead of the Forbidden City, standing at the top of the hill in Jingshan Park, you can still see the entire layout of the Forbidden City and the building structures. You’ll be picked up at your Beijing's hotel between 07:00 and 08:80 and begin the full-day tour of the city’s highlights at the Forbidden City, the largest and most powerful ancient imperial palace complex in the world, with 650 years of history to discover. Your guide will take you along the central axis of the site from south to north for an hour-long tour. After a short rest, you’ll continue on to the Temple of Heaven, the largest ancient imperial worship site in the world, where the emperors prayed for a good harvest for the farmers. On the way to Temple of Heaven, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about Chinese traditional medicine at a museum. Following a break to enjoy a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll stop for a short visit to a pearl gallery or silk museum. Next is a half-hour drive to the Summer Palace, which is the site of the stunning and most famous Chinese imperial garden. After about an hour of exploring the area you’ll enjoy Chinese tea ceremony at tea house before going back to your hotel.

During the 1.5 hour driving time, your tour guide will explain the related histories and stories along the way, feel free to ask questions if you have. Upon your arrival, your tour guide will assistant you with your tickets, you can choose to take cable car or ski lift up (at your own cost) to the Great Wall ,explore 1.5 hours, then toboggan or cable car back to the Ground. At the Great Wall, you will have some free time to discover this amazing creature by yourself! After the tour finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in downtown Beijing.
