Top sights in Paris
The Seine might be one of the world's most scenic urban rivers, flanked by exquisite monuments such as Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe. A cruise is the best way to enjoy it as long as you don't forget anything essential! Here's what to pack.
Even if all's calm on the City of Love's streets, its river is exposed and highly susceptible to strong winds. Even in summer you might need a good jacket!
Again, the Seine is exposed and so are you. If you're not seeing the sights by night, you'll want to see them on a sunny day. Keep yourself protected!
Many of Paris' most famous sights can be seen by boat, opening the door to some fantastic photo opportunities. If you have them, enhance the experience by bringing binoculars too!
Unless you're taking a dinner cruise of course! But even then you should think about bringing your own water bottle.
Corny? Perhaps. But hey, it's Paris! Why not check out some other tour options to round off a romantic day?
A Seine river cruise can cost anything from €10 per person for a basic boat tour to upwards of €200 for a candle-lit, gourmet dinner cruise by night.
776 kilometers. Oh wait, you meant the cruise? With dinner and entertainment you could be looking at up to 4 hours, but if you don't have that kind of time to spare, the less expensive ones should only take an hour!

What people are saying about Seine River
Did a photoshoot for a surprise engagement. There were some last minute changes but everything still went very smoothly. Beks is an amazing photographer and would definitely have her do another shoot for us. We ran late to the shoot and she still stayed for almost the entire hour and did multiple different locations and poses. We LOVE how the photos came out and everyone we share them with say they are gorgeous. Highly recommend for anyone that is doing a surprise proposal or anyone that just wants to have some nice photos of your vacation!
Bus tour and water tour very good. Trip to Eiffel tower spoilt by bad information - we were told to go to the second level, see the sights, then go to the first level for lunch and then go to the top. This is not possible unless you can walk up the stairs from the first to second levels, which we could not. The only alternative then is to go back to ground level, exist the tower and buy new tickets to get back in - not an option! Otherwise a well organised tour and good value for money.
I suggest that the Effiel Tower tickets should be left on the Eiffel Tower premise rather than the tourist having to walk a very long distance to pick up one's ticket. Some tourist, like me, may have breathing problems and cannot walk great distances. Or senior citizens cannot walk a long way before finally getting into the Eiffel Tower. Convenience should be a top priority so that senior citizens and the disabled can enjoy a much sought after tourist attraction.
My wife and I visited Paris for the first time and wanted to go on a night cruise. It was lovely to see the sights along the Seine river at night while everything was all lit up. Seeing the Eiffel Tower all lit up and sparkling was a real highlight. To hear the audio though we needed to use the free wifi, which we didn't use. So we couldn't hear any commentary unfortunately. Overall it was a pleasant cruise and a lovely, relaxing evening!
Office was easy to find to get tickets , great directions to boat tour which was a lovely way to see the city. We done the effel tower at night which we had a great tour guide to get us through the security and give us some history of the city , the tower was not too busy & beautiful at night.. great experience over all :)
