Full description
Explore the secrets and stunning views of Spain’s famous “death coast”, the Costa da Mort. The tour departs from Santiago de Compostela in the morning and then takes you to Muros, a picturesque old town and fishing port that is a reminder of Galician culture and tradition where the sea is the protagonist. Enjoy a walking tour around the area and admire the porches, galleries and quaint style of the houses.

Onto the Ézaro Waterfall next, a spectacular natural scene off the Xallas River which crosses Ézaro and cascades into the sea. Marvel at the breathtaking views from this unique vantage point out across the nearby towns and scenic coastline.

After the waterfall, visit the ancient world of Fisterra, a place where pilgrims from Compostela encountered the vastness of the ocean. Learn about the rich history of the land and enjoy a boat trip to see the amazing cape and the stunning surrounding beaches. On board the boat, taste the traditional local wine of vermú and then stop off at the nearby Faro for a tasty lunch in the village.

Finally, visit the village of Muxia to marvel at the Nosa Señora da Barca, one of the most traditional marine sanctuaries in Galicia. Legend says that the Virgin appeared to the Apostle James here, making it a truly magical location. Once you have explored the coastline of Galicia, it's time to head back to Santiago de Compostela before the sun sets.
