What people are saying about San Sebastián
Our knowledgable guide Ainhoa met us at agreed meeting point and led us on a truely wonderful experience walking the St James way to Pasio. Along the route we stopped several times to enjoy the macnificant views and so she could provide us with interesting history of this wonderful walk and the Basque countryside. It was a real pleasure to learn about the Basque culture, food and language from this young passionate guide. When we arrived in Pasio we sat in a local cafe with Ainhoa who ordered us a glass of the local wine as well as a selection of delicious Pintxos before getting the bus back to San Sebastián. Ainhoa was a wealth of knowledge who gave us information on the Old Town and the night life in San Sebastián. Thank you for ensuring we enjoyed the best of San Sebastián. Highly recommend tour and especially the host.
The places visited were of significant interest, particularly St Jean de Luz and San Sebastian. Because of the ground covered I felt there was insufficient time in each place. Also, the final stop at an amusement oark was superfluous, apart from taking in the view. I commend the guide, Stefan, who was very personable and knowledgeable.
Josu was the best guide, both gratious and kind! The sanctuaries were amazing as well as the lunch!!! It was personal and educational!!! I would recommend this as a “must do” for tourists!!!
Saw sights of Getaria, and was able to visit a small production, traditionally operated and family owned Txakoli winery. All arranged very efficiently on barely 24 hours notice!
Good trip with a lovely guide who could her job and made the trail interesting with local stories and explaining the history well of the trail. Very good arrangement
