What people are saying about Saint Peter's Church
My wife and me are classical music lovers and hobby musicians. We booked this concert based on the great reviews on Tripadvisor and we are so happy we made that research. This concert is a top recommendation for any classical music lover who wants to stay away from masses and tourist concerts. The musicians are extremely talented, the program is well balanced and the crypt has incredible acoustics. Classic Ensemble Vienna is by far the best concert we have been to in Vienna.
We had a free pick up from hotel which at 6.45am was great so we dint have to find the pick up location, our tour guide Thomas was very very good he had planned the day even to the type of music on the coach that incorporated what was with in the trip and also his knowledge of the area and friendliness, was great ! a most enjoyable day out.
The crypt has good acoustics and the players and their insctuments seem to be top-notch (though I don't have a trained hearing). The only minor problems that I had was that it was quite hot and stuffy, and that you couldn't see the players well if you weren't sitting in the first few rows.
Everything well organised plus we were blessed with the perfect weather. Salzburg areas we've seen are great, especially if one could stay a bit longer. I highly recommend this tour to tourists who have only one day for it. Doris is a wonderful guide, would be great to have her again.
I love classical music so this was a highlight of my trip in Vienna. I invited two people to the concert and they too loved it! The combination of the music and the cathedral from that era come together and create an amazing experience. Do it!
