What people are saying about Royal Library of Denmark
I had the chance to have a individual guided tour. It directly showed me that the guide had a passion for his work and was invested in his company because he didn't cancel the tour even though I was the only one who booked it. I discovered Copenhagen in a different way, with a good variety of stories about the past, some fairy tales and then some tips on how to enjoy Copenhagen today. As I just moved into Copenhagen, this will be very useful ! I really liked the fact that I discovered a few hidden streets, away from tourists, which I would never have found alone. I can't wait to go back and test the local shops & cafés I saw in those streets. I would recomment this tour if you want to discover the city with a local guide, in a fun & interactive way, while also getting to understand better danish people/culture!
There are plenty of busses and the bulk of the city was covered. There are three bus routes and the boat tour. All were included with this pass and Money was saved. The crowds were huge even in May. Can't imagine June and July when cruise ships are in port. Get the Red route (Little Mermaid) first thing in the morning. It was particularly nice that the bus stops at LM for 10 minutes to allow for pictures. This avoided one hop off. My biggest complaint would be the lack of information via the headsets. Our last hop on hop off was in Barcelona and they really gave you a lot of information. Significantly less info in Copenhagen.
The buses have a retractable roof so are open top in the summer which is great. 3 routes cover the city and the 1.5 hour boat trip is great and the best way to see the city. No live guides which is a shame but the on board head phone commentary is good.
After doing the mandatory bus and boat trips of Copenhagen, it was great to spend time walking around this great city. And this tour does it beautifully! Well known sights plus hidden gems. Well worth it.
Really good coverage of the city with the various routes. Drivers were very good and gave out plenty of information. Having said that the canal trip was tops for me.
