Worth seeing once

Thank goodness we had a skip the line ticket, because even with that, it took over an hour of queuing to finally get in. Once in, it is extremely busy, understandably. Our guide constantly reorganised her bag during the tour, which caused interference with the microphone meaning a lot of what she was saying, we missed. What we saw, and the bits we heard, were worth seeing and hearing, though.

It was very nice!

We had no problem finding the meeting point, and the organization was perfect. The guide was really nice and interesting. We still had to wait to enter (45min) but definitely less than the normal line (probably 3h). My only regret is that this tour does not include the dome of the basilique, and I think it should be clear when you buy the ticket, as it was kind of expensive.

Good value for money, very knowledgeable guide and we did indeed skip lots of waiting which was worth it! but there was a bit of a rush to get through everything. Bare in mind you re out of Vatican in 2.5 hours so you can’t go back and see any of the attractions again (unless you pay and queue again). Make sure you read up on Vatican before you go, helps to follow what’s being explained.
