Full description
More than a simple tour of the Vatican, this tour is a complete experience inside the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica. In a small group of 20 people or less, you'll discover St. Peter's and the most impressive gems of the Museums. You will explore not only the world-famous Sistine Chapel, but also the limited-access Bramante Staircase and its unique Renaissance architecture.

Throughout your experience you will talk of the magnificent paintings, churches, and art galleries which are included within the small but precious Vatican City. You will explore St. Peter's Basilica and Square, the Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo, Raphael’s Rooms, and the Renaissance treasures of the Vatican Museums throughout this guided visit.

Your guide will lead you also to an exclusive area of the Vatican Museums which is usually closed to the general public. It's the historic Bramante Staircase, which will be opened to you at no additional costs thanks to your guides partnership with the Vatican Museums. This staircase was the staircase that Renaissance Popes used to enter their private rooms through, without getting off their carriage. Whilst here you will feel like one of their 16-century guests. The famous architect Donato Bramante designed it as a spiral staircase adorned with columns and ending with a spectacular view. It has become a model for many following artists in aristocratic palaces, and you will be able to discover all its secrets with your guide.
