Full description
The Vatican Museums, with more than 1400 galleries, are some of the most important and largest museums in the world. Because of their fame, during high season, they can welcome more than 30,000 visitors per day. This unfortunately can lead to huge lines and hours of waiting. The same occurs at St. Peter’s Basilica, which has a different entrance to the Vatican Museums.

Thanks to this early morning semiprivate tour, you will not only see the museums without the crowds in a small group of maximum 10 persons, but you will also avoid wasting valuable time waiting in a queue by skipping both these long lines. Your tour guides are accredited by the Holy See and have many years of experience. They will help you discover and enjoy the Vatican’s fascinating history and beautiful works of art.

Your guides will follow a perfectly planned route, that will show you the highlights of the museums, such as the Gallery of the Candelabra, where you can admire the rich collection of Roman sculptures, the Raphael Rooms and of course, Michelangelo’s remarkable Sistine Chapel in its entirety. After the tour, you will be brought into St. Peter’s Basilica through a special exit, exclusively for official guides and their groups. It is worth getting up early for this special opportunity, with the tour starting at 8:30 AM.
