Full description
On this shore excursion to Rome, you'll be collected from the port at Civitavecchia, before you are whisked away for a full tour of all of Rome's most iconic sights. First, you will join your expert guide for a tour of the Colosseum, the world’s most famous amphitheater. Then, go to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill; where the evocative ruins speak of glories passed.

Next, head to the historic center to see the impressive Spanish Steps. This iconic staircase swirls in tumbling marble. Continue to the dazzling Trevi Fountain – make sure to throw a coin in to guarantee your return to Rome. Onward to the Pantheon - the world’s best-preserved Roman building. See two of Rome’s most iconic squares: Piazza Navona and Campo de’Fiori.

After a lunch stop (lunch not included) you will head to the Vatican Museums to see some of the world’s greatest art. Explore the Sistine Chapel and stand below Michelangelo’s frescoes - the pinnacle of his genius.
