Great and informative Tour - meeting point was away from the crowds, which was helpful and the guides onsite were very friendly and welcoming. We were lucky that the group was a bit too big, so we ended up having a private tour with our own guide for just the 2 of us. The Colosseum itself was impressive - plus our guide Sam shared so many interesting details on the events and architecture of the building and area, which made it easy to imagine what it must have been like in ancient times. It was a true experience, would recommend it to anyone!

We did the Colosseum tour and had an absolutely wonderful experience! Our guide, Zenda, was incredibly charismatic and knowledgeable. We also lucked out and received a private tour because the other guests never showed up. (We waited around 15 minutes past the start time.) Zenda was warm and welcoming. The tour was thorough and well rounded—we covered history, culture, and politics surrounding the Colosseum, and she even threw in some humorous connections relevant to the present. I can't imagine having a meaningful experience at the Colosseum without a guided tour unless you already have a certain depth of knowledge about it. Zenda's expertise added so much that we definitely wouldn't have gotten otherwise. This was our favorite activity in Rome and truly a can't-miss experience!

Roman Forum tour with TOM was incredible.

We went on the Coliseum and Roman Forum tour. The Roman Forum tour was led by Tom. Overall I think it was possibly the best tour I have ever been on. Tom went through the history of Rome and its emperors and tied it into the different parts of the Roman Forum as we walked through. He was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. His final "soliloquy" on the Forum was delivered so well and was so moving I was about to cry. He was THAT good. He was also very considerate of the heat, and always tried to find shade and made sure people had opportunities to get water. Five stars for sure.
