Full description
From your tour guide, learn about the different techniques that were used to build the Colosseum as they introduce you to the world of the Gladiators.

Next, stop at Palazzo dei Cesari, on the Palatine Hill, where the word Palatium (building) comes from. You will be taken to see the ruins of the Domus Augustana and then the paintings of Nero's first palace: the only ones that were saved after the arson that took place in 64 A.D.

End your tour with a visit to the Roman Forum which, in archaic times, was used to be a necropolis and has been transformed in the heart of Rome with its temples and cathedrals.  Finally, see the marvelous Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo and finished before World War II by the architect Antonio Munoz.
