What people are saying about Rome

Fun, informative tour. Perfect especially for 6-12 year olds.

We found our guide easily (standing outside the lower exit of the metro station holding a sign with our names). It was just us and one other family. It didn't take too long to get inside the Colosseum although there is a lot of security to go through and you can't bring things like glass bottles of water. Our guide gave a brief description of the history of the colosseum focusing on entertaining the kids she had a book with pictures showing us how it would have looked when first built. We then wandered around the main area of the colosseum and took pictures. We then went on to the Forum which was also interesting. Again the guide was great at describing the main features and history (illustrated with pictures) without losing the interest of the kids. She was very flexible in terms of answering questions and finding things of particular interest to the kids. She left us inside the forum to wander around on our own (there is a great view from the top of palatine hill).

Sara is as a brilliant guide who clearly loved her job !!

This tour was well worth the money . Sara was our guide who answered many questions by this two family group. The children did re-enactments and there was a quiz and treasure hunt at the end with a nice little prize for the children of both families. It was evident that Sara loved her job and explained history to us at an understandable level. In fact the tour overran , but the time flew because we all were interested in the history . For the record ; my youngsters are 17,16 and 9 years of age

Went as a family and had a cracking time. Recommend.

Had a great time, made a real change from the usual sightseeing day out - the activity started slowly, as a family of 9 (!) had turned up on the wrong day, but the staff took it all in stride and made it work; by the end we were chatting to people from all over the world and having a grand old time of it. The food was pretty good too: mentally subtract the cost of a big meal + wine from the price and it's good value if you ask me. Great fun.

A lot of fun. Our best experience in Rome.

Very kid friendly and entertaining for adults as well. Great hands on learning with excellent demonstration and guidance on technique and methods. Did not push to get through. Relaxed and enjoyable. Great opportunity to meet and mix with other travelers. Highly recommend if you like to cook and it is a lot of fun even if you don't. And you get a home cooked meal as a bonus.

This tour was the highlight of our visit to Rome!

Lorena was an excellent guide, very good with children, engaging them with great enthusiasm. Apart from that also as a parent I learnt a lot from Lorena's vast knowledge. She knows her way around, in the Vatican museums extremely well, pointing out the head of the statute of Augustus visible from a certain window covered by a curtain: impressive!
