What people are saying about Rome

Great tour but felt like we missed lots of the coliseum

The coliseum tour was just a talk of the coliseum from one position on the 1st floor. It was an amazingly well spoken one and tons of facts plus the view of the stadium was great from that position but I wish there’d been maybe 1-2 more maybe near the centre or lower levels. Tour of palatine hill and the forums was great! Really awesome info about the beginnings of Rome both mythology wise and historically correct wise. Was filled with lots of knowledge and the views were fantastic, felt like it could have gone down into the forums for a stop but otherwise it was great. Both guides were fantastically knowledgeable, enthusiastic and well spoken. Would recommend this tour if you’re in a bit of a rush but otherwise I’d try to find a more in depth tour if you want to spend the entire day (which you definitely could) in this archeological area.

It's a MUST DO for Rome, don't miss out!

Chiara was an exceptional tour guide, we loved her! She was humorous, personable, and had many, many interesting facts about the history of Italy and the geographical significance of the regions. She shared her love of Italy with us and gave us insider information on what locals in Rome like to do. I could have walked Pompeii for 4 hours! Our guide, Arianna, was highly educated on the history and facts of the city. She was protective of us as a group and took us to see the best parts of the massive ruins. This is a Must Do with City Wonders tours!

Loved the colosseum. Did NOT love the endless harrassment outside.

This visit would have been so much better if we hadn't been harassed outside by people offering to sell us tickets, be our guides, etc. Also, we tried to go into the Forum the next day as we ran out of time. You CANNOT get into the Forum for free, no matter what Trip Advisor tells you! If we'd known this we would have made the effort to go there the same day as the Colosseum and Palatine Hill.

Vatican Museums, Sistine & St Peter: Skip-the-Line Tour

We were happy to do this. One gets overwhelmed by large touristy places. best to take a tour, helps with knowing how to enter, layout of the place, guide highlights the key facts and if you want to know more, can always do it yourself once you are familiar with the place.

Very interesting but at ticket offices code do with more staff

Lovely day out was very good with the self guide but YOU MUST HAVE ID or bankcard to leave as deposit Only bad think was still had to light up to show ticket only have one light and two staff
