Full description
Cycling out of Rome from your bikeshop by the colosseum will probably be the most memorable part of your trip to Rome. Once outside of the city, stop at the catacombs for a guided visit of the earliest site of Christian worship in the world, a real "mecca" for pilgrims.

After having finished the guided tour of the catacombs, continue along the Appian Way to the Park of the Aqueducts. Cycle along the old roman road into the countryside and through woods and country lanes. Arrive at the Park of the Aqueducts and stop for a little break to cool down in the flowing water from the Aqueduct Felice.

In the vicinity there is a local market where you can choose your favourite italian lunch, like proscuitto/bread/cheese/olives/sun-dried tomatoes and fruit. Once you have prepared our lunch, continue to the spring where you can sit down in the benches and use the bathroom.
