Full description
Start with pickup from your hotel or accommodation. First, make your way with your guide to the famous Colosseum. Discover the history of this feat of Roman architechtural, and the games and entertainment that entertained the citizens of ancient Rome. Cross the Imperial Fora and the Roman Forum, reaching Piazza Venezia with its huge white altar, Vittoriano, designed in the late 19th century by the Architect Sacconi in an eclectic style recalling the elements of classical architecture.

Next, take the opportunity to climb Capitoline Hill and enjoy a beautiful view of the Roman Forum. Afterwards, visit the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperor Augustus’ nephew, and the two oldest marketplaces of the city, the Forum Boario and the Forum Olitorio.

Stop by the two well-preserved Republican temples of Hercules and Portunus built in the 2nd century BC. See the remains of the Circus Maximus, the Imperial Palace, and Aventine Hill. Drive along the ancient Walls of Rome built by the Emperor Aurelianus in 270 AD and torta Ostiense. Nearby stands the huge marble Pyramid which is the tomb of Caius Cestius dating back to 46 BC. As you travel back to the city center, pass by the Baths of Caracalla, the public bath and gym that could host up to 3000 people at the same time.
