Full description
Take a relaxing and educational full day trip from Seville to Málaga. After pickup or coming to a meeting point in Seville in the early morning, head towards the south of Spain where Málaga is located, along the Mediterranean coast. Your visit will begin at Plaza de la Merced, one of the most important squares of the city, where the statue of Picasso can be found. Learn about the origins of Málaga from your guide on a pleasant walk through the center, enjoying the true essence of the city and discovering magical corners and surprises.

Walk through iconic places in the city such as Plaza de la Constitución, Calle Larios, and Plaza del Obispo. Enter the cathedral known as “La Manquita”, a building that perfectly combines different architectural styles: Gothic in its plan, Renaissance in its elevation and headboard, and Baroque in its main façade and rooftop decorations. This is the most significant monument of the city—you don’t want to miss it.

Continue on through the most picturesque areas of the city to arrive at Alcazaba, a fortress built by the city’s Muslim dominators in the 11th century on the ruins of a previous Roman bastion. Nearby, visit the oldest monument in the city: the Roman Theater, the only ancient ruin left in Málaga and one of the few in Andalusia.

Before returning to Seville, you’ll have free time to taste some local wine in one of the many typical bars of the city center.
