Full description
The ride to Tijuca Forest is an excellent option for those who want to know the well-known park in Rio de Janeiro and one of the most visited in Brazil. After boarding the tourist area and downtown Rio de Janeiro, you will start the walk towards the entrance gate of the Tijuca Park Sector A and go through several segments of the Atlantic Forest and attractions that have multiple records in the history of Tijuca Forest and Imperial Brazil. Then, visit one of the main waterfalls in the park, the Cascatinha Taunay.

Stop at the visitor's center and head towards Capela Mayrink Chapel which has replicas of famous painters such as Portinari. Your last stop will be the largest dam of the Tijuca Forest, the Açude da Solidão. All these places are beautiful and the most visited attractions of the park. The Tijuca Forest is an important recreational area for hiking and other mountain activities, its highest mountains are the Pico da Tijuca and the Bico do Papagaio.

The stroll through the rainforest is made of van and passes through the main attractions of the park. Round trip transportation to the hotels of the tourist district and downtown Rio de Janeiro are included on this tour.
