This was a three hour ride around central Vienna. The guide stopped at many of the city's significant sites and gave us a great overview of historical Vienna and today's Vienna. Her explanations were both understandable and entertaining. The pace of the ride was easy, and the guide made sure that no one was left behind. Much of the ride was on dedicated bike lanes or where there was little car traffic, so there was never any feeling of being unsafe. It did rain while we were on the tour, but the guide had us take shelter in a little cafe on the Judenplatz where we had hot drinks. Luckily the rain subsided after about 15 minutes and we were on our way. My wife and I agree that this bike tour was a highlight of our time in Vienna.
Our tour guide was Horst (I think!!) and he was awesome. He took us around to a ton of amazing locations during the tour. He was an informative guide and a GREAT teacher! Some of us on the tour (me) had never ridden a segway before, and he brought us (me) up to speed very quickly. He was funny and engaging and the small group setting was the perfect way to experience to city. Definitely recommend this tour. Vienna is very segway friendly and we spent almost the entire tour in the bike lane. Would do it again if I was back in the city! Go on this tour with Horst!!
My entire family loved Marieta and her walking tour of the city. Vienna is a beautiful city, and her insight was a five star performance. Every building she provided an excellent description of it’s history. Both my wife and mother in law love roses, and when she took through the park, the roses left them both speechless. She could not have planned a better tour. Marieta is gracious, professional and every family that tours Vienna should request her. We thank her one last time for the tour of a lifetime.
Loved this tour. Bikes were very good quality, comfortable, strong snd so easy to maneuver. We went to places we would not have seen on a typical tourist ride. Good english commentary with time to take some great pics at choice locations. Would recommend to others. The option of an ebike for my husband (sore foot) was excellent although he hardly needed it as the route is largely flat ground. The afternoon option caught the shade which was appreciated in the 32C heat.
The gentleman meeting us at the stable spoke paractically no English. Since I don’t speak German, there weren’t too many secrets he could share with me. We were shown some videos he had on his smartphone of horses he maintains at his farm and he shared a few statistics about his business. He was friendly enough and the carriage ride to town was good. However, I expected a little more from the stable tour.
