What people are saying about Rialto Bridge

Nice guide, good historical info with too much food and too much vine

I choose this option, 4 hours as i wanted to get a senae of the history through the Venetian traditonal food through agriculture and trade. Our guide gave us a good introduction to the Rialto market, the Church (where we met). She had a great sense of humour and led us through the old days of food, trade of salt and vines. Its a tour for people with an open mind. Umderstand its about Venice and Venetian development and change through food. At our third stop i was already stuffed but we still had spritz and cheeze, meat platter as well as blacl squid i k pasta with garlic, which was delicious. I took the tour as i travelled alone and felt like meeting people and share an experience. It is moderate walking and i felt it in my feet after the end of the day. Great way to start a Venice experience. The guide was also able to answer questions very well. The food was an odd combination of flavours and quite stodgy, so it is not perhaps food i eat again, but then again i also don't like pizza.

Good canal tour but confusing logistics.

The canal tour was great and was a quick way to see the city by boat. Overall, I enjoyed the tour for the views that it provided. However, the logistics of the tour were a nightmare. After purchasing tickets, I was informed that I should go to a meeting spot and that I would be picked up there. The site also stated that a mobile voucher would be okay to use. That was not the case at all. You actually have to go to the ticketing office and show your mobile voucher there. The person working there will then give you a physical voucher and will tell you which boat to board. That was 100% not clear, but the company and workers remained adamant that it was. Because of the confusion, my family and I missed our tour, but luckily we were able to join the next one thanks to a helpful member of the company. So as long as you follow my instructions (and not the instructions on the website / confirmation e-mail) you'll be fine.

Best Tour Ever: Like Drinks With Group of Friends

This is totally different to any tour I've been on. The group was small, myself and two couples from The Netherlands who were travelling together. Alice the tour guide was amazing and used the small group to keep the tour informal and was really attentive and bonded with the group. It felt like going out for a casual meal and drinks with friends rather than a tour. Lots of lovely little local food and drink places and even the history parts during the walk were informal and informative. You can tell Alice is really proud of where she lives and her enthusiasm shone through, she is really a top class tour guide. An amazing tour with an amazing guide, one of the highlights of an amazing trip to beautiful Venice, would recommend whole heatedly. Thank you Alice for introducing me to your beautiful home town.

Nico was a terrific guide, and the food and drinks were incredible!

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, unique, informative and delicious (of course!) way to explore Venice. The food was very good as were the drinks. The sheer amount of food and drink and their quality is almost worth the ticket price in itself. Yet, this tour is so much more, as it is also historical and highly informative. Nico was a terrific guide and clearly knows his way around the city he is from: he knows the locals and almost makes you forget you aren’t one for a few hours.

A fantastic experience with our guide Anna

Anna was a fantastic guide taking us to cantinas that were hidden away. We enjoyed a selection of delicious food whilst being told about the history of Venice. We were also taken to a fantastic cheese shop off the beaten track at our request. Anna our guide was amazing, taking photos whenever asked and answering all our questions. A worthwhile trip my wife and I would highly recommend.
