What people are saying about Reykjavik

Excellent, it was magical, sites were breathtaking.

The circle sites were breathtaking especially the secret lagoon, loved it. The guides Anna and Gummi were also very entertaining and informative nothing was to much for them. Thanks

Really very interesting and easy way to see lots and relax .

I enjoyed our New Years Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Trip with Sterna travel. The guide Marie was knowledgeable, kind, considerate and helpful. The driver “Gummy Bear” was a safe pair of hands and a jolly chap and He was excellent on icy roads and made us all feel safe and secure. My daughter loved meeting the Icelandic ponies, I believe a little extra Maria squeezed in and bathing in the warm waters of the Secret Lagoon. Even though very cold outside. Thank you both for making our experience one to remember.

Amazing. Our guide was great fun and informative

Great trip. All the sights and the lagoon were amazing. Our guide was brilliant and kept us entertained. All went very smoothly. This was a highlight of our trip and I'll recommend it always.

The best way to see Iceland is on horseback

Myself my daughter and her friend thoroughly enjoyed our hack through lava fields above Reykjavík. Those horses are sturdy, sure footed and totally dependable for their riders. Ishetar have very knowledgeable guides who explained in detail the history of the Icelandic Horse from when they were brought there by the exploring Vikings. Well done to all the guides and thank you for an unforgettable experience.

Icelandic Horse Riding Tour in Lava Fields Reviewed by Christopher, 24/09/2018

An excellent tour to hit all the main sights in one day.

A very good tour. Nice small group in a minibus, so much quicker getting everyone on and off than with a coach-load. Guide was very good and very knowledgeable. Only criticism is the meeting point instructions for people coming off a cruise ship is a year out of date, so caused quite a bit of initial confusion. Once sorted out though I could not fault the organisation of a pretty busy day! And, if you only have a day to "do" the area around Reykjavik this is an excellent tour to choose.
