Full description
See the incredible northern lights from the panoramic decks of a luxurious yacht. This tour is perfect for those looking for an awe-inspiring experience watching the celestial display of the aurora borealis.

Meet your captain and crew at Reykjavik's Old Harbor, where you'll board the luxury yacht. You will sail among the small islands in Faxafloi Bay and along the coast of Reykjavik before the yacht begins to sail away from the lights of the city. This will allow you to enjoy the beauty of the northern lights to the fullest. The panoramic triple deck area allows every passenger to enjoy the breathtaking colors of the Aurora, and to capture some amazing photos of the green, pink, and white lights.

The tour is conducted in a small group, so your experience will be both personal and memorable. Don't worry if there is rain or wind, as the decks are partially covered to provide shelter from the elements. If you wish to stay inside during the trip, you will find a lovely bar and lounge area inside where you can relax in comfort. If the lights do not show up, the captain and crew will still make sure that your journey is enjoyable. You will be given the chance to taste Icelandic delicacies such as shark, dried fish, and brennivin, the local liquor.

A must do experience for sure! We went out twice in 2 days with the team but didn’t see the lights :( however the experience of a SUPER yacht and being able to venture 95% of the ship including the Captains cabin & a very professional & friendly team running the trip made it worth the while! Thank you to everyone involved

Incredible! We boarded at 8.40 and it was wise to get there early to get the best comfy seat inside. Not that many people altogether. We could stay sat in the warmth until the lights appeared -carefully monitored by the crew, who were very excited for us to see them. We also did the coach trip 2 nights before with a different company and got free hot chocolate and chocolate bar. Would have been a nice touch on this luxury yacht experience.

Great boat but weather was not ideal to see the ‘lights’. I had expected the boat to go out further away from light pollution so the relatively close to the harbour location was not what i expected. Weather probably played a part as the cloud reflected the harbour & shore lights.
