Full description
A professional guide will accompany you as you visit Iceland’s natural wonders on this 8-hour minibus tour. The Golden Circle route covers a 300km loop from Reykjavík to central Iceland and back.

Highlights of the tour include spectacular natural formations, geysers, waterfalls, lakes and more.

Visit Thingvellir, a pivotal landmark that connects all the major events in the founding of the Icelandic commonwealth. It’s also the best place on earth to view the North Atlantic divergent ridge.

Stop at Fríðheimar farm, owned by the same family since 1995. The family, besides growing tomatoes and cucumbers, are passionate about horses. Enjoy a truly unique experience and meet the Icelandic horses up close on a visit to the stables. You might get a chance to pet them and maybe take a selfie! Lunch (at your own expense) will be held in the greenhouse where you will have the possibility to purchase local products on the menu after a visit of the stables.

Geysir, the origin of the English word geyser, is actually dormant these days, but its little brother Strokkur remains active and erupts every 3-4 minutes with spouts as high as 20 meters.

See Gullfoss, which is considered the most beautiful of Iceland’s 30,000 waterfalls. You’ll also see Kerið, a striking crater lake filled with milky blue-green water and surrounded by stark black and deep red slopes.

My travel partner and I truly enjoyed our tour! Our guide, "Ice Man," was humorous, interesting, and informative, as well as an experienced driver in some tricky weather. We especially loved the Icelandic Horse demonstration and lunch in a hydroponic tomato greenhouse. The sites were amazing--especially Gullfoss. The tour bus was comfortable and spacioud. Thank you!

Great guide, David. Very interesting and had lots of info for us. Small hiccup when microphone didn't work but that was fixed quickly. Learned a lot about Iceland and the area we travelled. David is a great driver, got us safely to different parts and was there if we needed anything more.
