Fabulous trip, superb guide. Far exceeded expectations!
We booked this at the last minute due to being delayed in France for a day. We lucked out ending up in a small group (just 4 of us) and a fantastic guide, Susanne. The tour of the Taittinger cellars was incredible - so interesting, fascinating detail about the history of the caves and their relevance to the history of Reims, as well as about the production of champagne, the Taittinger house and history. The mini tour of Reims was a great intro to the city as well, and our guide was able to bring it to life for us. Her knowledge of both viticulture, champagne, Reims and the region was excellent - when we asked questions we were often given amazing little snippets of history or local culture which made the trip feel so special. We then visited a very small local house: the contrast was stunning and really brought home to us just how much hard work and time goes into any bottle of champagne. We loved our tasting in the small house; it was so relaxed and personal. Highly recommended.

This was an excellent tour. Ann Marie was passionate and engaging responding to all of our individual needs as well as those of the group. The chosen vineyards were diverse and each had a unique story. This combined with the city tour and Cathedral tour of Reims was a great balance. Thank you.
