Full description
Avoid the Parisian traffic and take a train to the Champagne region. Relax throughout your 45-minute panoramic train trip to Reims, where upon arrival you board the city bus that will take you to the champagne house of the world-famous champagne Taittinger.

Throughout your guided 1-hour visit, discover the cellars and their history. Travel back in time to the 6th century, passing through the 13th century and ending with a tasting of two types of champagne. These consist of a Brut Réserve, fruity and brioché Champagne, and a second champagne, a Brut Millésimé 2013 vintage.

Following your guided visit, take some free time to wander around the city. Discover treasures of inestimable value and explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, with some recommended highlights including the breath-taking Notre-Dame Cathedral of Reims, the Saint-Remi Basilica, the Place Royale, the Palace of Tau, and the Saint-Remi Parc.

Meeting point

Paris: Place du 11 novembre 1918, 75010 Paris. Your train to Reims (direction Sedan) will leave from the Gare de l’Est train station. Reims: 9, place Saint-Nicaise 51100 Reims. There is a shuttle, called Citybus, that takes you from the train station to the Champagne House Taittinger. It passes every 20 minutes.
