Appreciate the distinctive geography of Mackenzie Country as you journey to the Mount Cook National Park. Be amazed at the majesty of New Zealand’s highest peak, Mount Cook, also known by its Maori name, Aoraki (Cloud Piercer). The park boasts a truly awe-inspiring landscape with more than thirty 3,000 meter high peaks and five of New Zealand’s largest glaciers.

Take the opportunity to absorb the unforgettable views, while you enjoy a freshly-prepared lunch at the famous Hermitage Hotel. For an additional treat, you can also choose to take a scenic helicopter or ski plane flight to get a real bird's eye view of the rugged yet beautiful terrain (at an additional cost and weather permitting).

The bus was 10 minutes late at the pick up location in Queenstown. I was very disappointed with the short period of time allowed (10 minutes!) for us to take photos in Lake Tekapo. I believe time management should be better controlled. However, the driver Steve was informative and responsible the whole time. He also dropped my friend and I off near our hostel (though I was informed by email before that a drop-off service for my hostel was unavailable). So I was really grateful that he had made our walk back to hostel easier!

Comfortable way to transfer instead of renting a car. Door to door service was very comfortable. On the way photo stop was a good idea.

For me, the problem was because of the many pick up and drop off hotels' points. The hotels were not only in the beginning or the end of the trip, but every place we went we stopped to pick up or drop off people.
