What people are saying about Quebec City

I have mostly "pros" about this activity, it went very smooth for the most part. The staff at the prep site and at the visitor center were very nice and informative. We got lucky and enjoyed beautiful weather. Doing the actual zipline only lasts a few seconds. It is over before you know it and it feels very secured. Besides listening to the basic instructions on landing at the prep platform, no special or previous skills are required. The only 'con' I can muster if any, it is that at the end of the activity we are required to walk twice more (to the starting point and back to the parking lot/entrance point) the length of the trail to the other side of the falls/bridge to return the equipment (harness and helmet), which makes the activity feel more like a hiking trip that a zipline one. And if deciding going down the steps to the foot of the falls, bear in mind your age/stamina, as it is a 487 step work out back up. Besides that, I definitely recommend this activity.

Unfortunately there was some construction happening and the access to the bottom was a very long way back up. Some of the staff did not seem to enjoy their jobs much. When asked for directions to enter cable car, the group reservation desk was very rude and just pointed...no words were exchanged. The cable car operators said hello and were polite but could have smiled at least vs. looking bored and uninterested in life. Excuse the rating for transportation... we drove not on a tour...I could not change this. The activity was easy to find.

Quebec City: Montmorency Falls with Cable Car Ride Reviewed by Anonymous, 18/09/2019

Did it to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. It was a blast! The booking system allowed us to select a suitable time. Need to be there at least half hour prior to minimise delay. The stuff were professional and attentive. We drove to the venue. Need to select Zip Line in your navigation system or will be directed to another site. That delayed us about 10 minutes.

My family went in January, so it was VERY cold. The falls were half frozen. I am afraid of heights, but surprisingly, it was not a scary experience. I wish we could go back in the summer. We walked the bridge over the falls. It was very beautiful.

The ticketing was very easy. We went early at opening and it was very efficient and not too crowded. The falls are beautiful and we enjoyed the ride up and down. Dress warmly and wear good shoes that can grip on the ice.
