We undertook this tour and were picked up on time from the hotel in HCMC. Our guide was passionate and had a deep understanding of the history of the temples and endeavored to pass that onto our Kiwi family of Mum and Dad and 3 teenagers 14 - 18. Our guide got us to the site early which gave us good time to stay ahead of the other tourists arriving after us. We watched a live cultural performance which was great. We had a very informative morning and came away with plenty of photos and better informed about the history. We felt for us, it would have been best to visit the on site museum first to gain more context surrounding the Temples and then to go on the tour. A very enjoyable morning. many thanks!
The tour was good, well organized. The guide was very nice and her English was excellent! It was a great experience where we had the opportunity to taste different specialties that we would never dare to order ourself. And we were shown some hidden nice places that we wouldn't have been able to try on our own. Wouldn't miss this tour!
Enjoyed the tour and your guide was excellent. Particularly appreciated (bearing in mind the early start) the specific pick-up time being sent through the evening before. However, the van used is not big enough for western length legs: a slightly roomier van would make the journey to and from the temples much more comfortable.
I felt that there could have been a little bit more speaking from the guide on the trip to the mountains, just general knowledge stuff or even about what we would see at My Son because once we got there it was a little hard to hear at the site due to the amount of other of tourists.
We found Eric the tour guide very insightful and knowledgable regarding the ancient ruins of the Hindu temples. We would highly recommend this trip to anybody who wants to enrich their knowledge of Central Vietnam
