What people are saying about Porto

I loved this tour for the value!!! We went to porto cruz.....and had the whole process fully explained with a tasting of 4 ports. The second place however is off the beaten track and just amazing .....small business but the best ports. And then Churchill...young but tasty and a tour of a full operating cellar....and I met Mr Tom Graham- previous owner of Grahams but now owns Churchill. The tour guide and everyone she introduced us to made such a kind effort to greet us and be incredibly hospitable and friendly. So worth the value too......amazing ports amd great variety....no 2 tasted the same.

Porto: 3-Hour Port Wine Walking Tour with Tastings Reviewed by Rebecca, 09/19/2020

Really good day activity! We were lucky to be the only people during this day, so it was more of a private tour. Patricia is an incredible tour guide, she's got a contagious great mood, and she knows what she's talking about. Sights are wonderful, even with a little rain you can definitely enjoy. Sometimes tour lunch can be a bit "cheap", but in this case it was a very nice restaurant with traditional Portuguese food, really enjoyable. All in all, very recommended. Thanks Patricia!

This was a fantastic two hours tour, really informative and perfect for navigating all the steep hills which we would never have managed on foot Our guide was Dutch and spoke perfect English We certainly felt we got our money's worth It was good fun and we covered a lot of ground The meeting point was a little difficult to find because they are currently recovering from a fire and the signage was not very good Lots of stops for photos and general questions

Porto: 2-Hour City Highlights Guided Segway Tour Reviewed by Sandra-Alan, 10/10/2020

We had an amazing day out in the Douro Valley. Our guide, Tiago, was very knowledgeable and great fun. We got to try lots of wines and I loved being able to see the difference between a large scale Port producer and a small, family-run winery. Also, the lunch restaurant was lovely and even able to make a good vegetarian lunch for us - something that is pretty rare in Portugal! All in all, it was a great day and all coronavirus precautions were taken.

An enjoyable way to spend an afternoon if you are in Porto. The 3 different port wine houses gave a good variety of different tastes and styles of port wine. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a trip down to see some of the barrels and casks during one of the stops. There was a tour guide who accompanied us and was able to answer all of our questions. This tour is a great way to find out what sort of port wines are for you.
