Marvel at the extraordinary flora and fauna, and be amazed by the colossal Cântaro Magro formed during the last Ice Age. Get a better understanding of the cultural, historic, and gastronomic wealth of the region, and visit one of the traditional factories that make the famous mountain cheese.

Go to the Museu do Pão (Bread Museum) in Seia to learn about traditional bread making. Enjoy scenic views of the Lagoa Comprida and the Torre mountain peak in Serra da Estrela Natural Park. Go for a sled on the snow, or take the chairlift in the summer (optional and subject to an extra fee).
