What people are saying about Porto

Great way to get a feel for some of Porto and have fun

The hop on hop off tours are always a great way to get a feel for a city. There were a few broken earphone jacks but once we had a seat where they worked it was good. The Douro River boat tour was excellent as was the Port tasting. Well worth the money, and a two day pass allows a leisurely exploration.

Great value for money, interesting and entertaining

We booked the two day Hop On Hop Off Bus, River Cruise and Port Cellar Tour package. It was fantastic value for money. We did both the Purple Line and Orange Line tours - got to see lots of the city easily and learned about it from the audio so as to decide which places we wanted to spend time visiting. The River Cruise was a lovely way to spend an hour with a different perspective on the city from the River Douro. Then the Port Cellar Tour was informative and the tasting of two different ports was most welcome. We have no hesitation in recommending this package to visitors to Porto - thank you.

Great exhibition and museum surrounded by the most beautiful nature.

Really enjoyed the exhibits (October 2018) of Kapoor and Mapplethorpe. The museum was not so busy, which is always nice. Lovely area of Porto, good little cafe. The park is fantastic, full of paths and walkways, and many places to sit and bathe in the nature. If the sun is out, it's only a few minutes bus ride from here to the wild Atlantic Coast at Foz, and then a coastal walk back to town (or a bus)

Excellent tour and great value for the money,

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and wished that we had more time to avail ourselves of the many interesting stops on both sides of the river,

Great way to make the most of your stay in Porto

We really enjoyed this combo. It works out a bit cheaper than buying it directly from the yellow bus. We started in the main plaza de Liberdat, and that worked well. So you can do the tour from the start. We did the yellow route on day one, and stopped for our winery tasting. The next day the purple route and went to the beach for a great seafood lunch. That afternoon we did the boat trip. That way we saw Porto from all angles, and loved it. Only pain was having to print the ticket. They really should have an electronic scanner. The woman at the yellow bus kiosk was very rude about it and said she doesnt understand why Get your guide still offers this deal. She seems annoyed that we bought it through GYG and not them.
