The train is brilliant taking you through the streets of porto with information about different buildings, very interesting. Then on to the port tasting, very good video about how Port is produced. Then on to the barrels of different ages and ports, shown around by a lovely girl called Catrina who told us lots more about the port. Then for tasting, I now realise I like port! We then had time for a lunch before we went on the boat, that also very informative and very good overall I would highly recommend this trip, thank you getyourguide For

Overall I would say it’s well worth the €22! It gives you three opportunities to experience the amazing sights in Porto! Just make sure to validate your ticket at the office across from the cathedral. There was the added bonus of the attractive man who sells you tickets and gets you on the train

We really enjoyed a trip. Great value for money. We opted for the tour without lunch and glad we did as we had lunch by the river, which gave us another opportunity to explore the area before the boat trip. The woman who did our tour of the port cellar was very knowledgeable and made it every interesting. My only criticism is that the film showed at the Port tasting was in Portuguese so we couldn’t understand it. It was pretty pointless sitting for what seemed an age looking at images. I was bored. The tasting was very rushed, we had to down in one or waste it, so I’d have preferred to skip the film and enjoy the tasting at a slower pace and have mire time to browse and shop. Having said that, it was a very enjoyable tour and we were really glad we did it. I’d recommend it for sure.
