What people are saying about Porto

An great insight on the history of Porto from a very passionate guide!

My visit to Porto was a gift to my parents and they absolutely loved it! The tour was perfect, we met at the given time and learnt so much about the history. The guide was a lovely gentleman who was very passionate about his city. He really made us feel welcomed, as my parents don’t speak English very well; he made the effort to learnt to greet them in Albanian and kept checking in on them which was very sweet. As we were the only ones from the group that had booked a cruise, he was so helpful and made sure that we got to where we needed to he and explained everything very well. Only thing I would say is that the tour finished at around 1pm therefore was not 8hrs but this was fine for my parents as it was very hot that day and they were getting tired!

Shows birth of Portugal as a nation highlighting their religious zeal

A good one day trip from Porto. The religious landmarks in Braga are spectacular and Guimarães is truly the cradle of the Portuguese nation. Our guide, Tiago, from living tours was extremely knowledgeable and had a passion for history but was never short of a joke, which made the time pass quickly. Tiago also did extremely well in keeping me, as the only English speaking member of the group, constantly informed. Of course, we were in Portugal so that mean't plenty of local produce to eat and drink at lunch.

The arrangement of the trip is not accorded to the description.

We are told that the European's oldest University is so crowd and we have only twenty minutes to look outside. So we change to the other site where we only had seventy minutes to walk and have lunch. The Obido village and Fatima are OK. The guide introduced us in the car and let us visiting by ourselves.

Knowledgeable, conscientious, competent tour guide.

Our tour guide, Paola (?), was excellent. Sadly I've misplaced her card. She knew her material inside and out, she was organized, methodical, took everyone's limitations into consideration and did a phenomenal job of taking us around on this nine hour tour.

A very good n interesting trip with an interactive group

Bernado made sure that the entire group interacted n no one was left out. He was very informative n knowledgeable of the sites we visited. The lunch too was well taken care
