What people are saying about Porto

Great but avoid riding on Porto Castles yellowbus on Sunday

Everybody will flock to the seaside on Sunday and the route back to the starting point will be badly congested, resulting in me missing my scheduled train ride back to Lisbon from Campanha. The meeting point provided in the link isn't wrong but I'd suggest you should start off from the stop in front of Imperial McDonald's. I do hope the admin see this and update it. In fact, you can activate and begin your ride at valid stop. Be early to the Calem Tour to book your slot of your preferred language. Mine was English and it was full and capped at 45 person per tour. No problem getting on the river cruise there are many enough boats to accommodate the crowd. But besides that, this package is great value and I really enjoyed it!

Great package to see Porto in a couple of days - definitely do!

This was a great way of seeing the city by bus and on the river cruise as well as getting to taste some Port. My only feedback would be that the bus wasn't on time on one of the mornings when we had contacted the company and it was a 45 minute wait until it arrived as it was the first of the day. We didn't mind it was later but wouldn't have left so early if we had known. There was also some confusion as to which port house was the one included as it varied and the leaflet was different to the ticket. Luckily the one we went to still let us visit and I think in spite of this it's a brilliant way to navigate the city and you learn alot about the history and work out where everything is.

Great way to see the city with a small child

This trip was really good value, the man in the office was super friendly and told us about a lovely little restaurant in the museum across the road (We had lunch here before the tour - highly recommend). The train ride was fine, much more comfortable than I thought it would be after reading the reviews. The wine cellar tour was interesting and not too long for our daughter - the tasters were a nice touch . The boat trip was lovely. Do arrive early for the boat trip, we did as advised by previous reviews and there was already a queue. The boat also left 20 minutes earlier than departure time. Would definitely recommend.

great value for money, it covers all the sightseeing highlights

BUY THIS. The bus tour took us to all the parts of Porto that need to be seen, and gave us a good overview of the city. Then later we walked to all the parts that we liked from the bus. It was a bit hard to figure out the schedule (it is not really every 30 minutes), so we decided not to hop on and off too much, but rather walk. The boat tour was very nice, we enjoyed it a lot. The wine tasting was nice too. Amazing price for everything that you get. I just wish there was a website or something because it was hard to find out about the bus stops, where to do wine tasting, where to activate the voucher, etc.

Good tour option with plenty of seats on bus and boat

Booked online choosing this tour over the more populated tour in the hope there would be fewer people on our tours and it worked really well. Bus didn’t tell you stops but following map was fine. The port tasting tour was good as was the river cruise although we would’ve preferred longer than 50 minutes. We did the 48 hour option and glad we did as we did the 2 hour bus tour on one day then the port tour and cruise the next day. The lady in the booking office was really helpful and friendly.
