What people are saying about Porto
George was very knowledgeable on the history of Portugal and the Braga. Guimaraes area. He also knew much about the Roman occupation and governance. Braga is a beautiful city. The Bom Jesus church is stunning. I would have loved to spend more time there and less free time wondering the town. This being said we had a treat it was Braga Roman week. A period in which the Roman roots of the town were celebrated. Lunch was unique as it was in the festival. Boy were we stuffed! Thank you for your knowledge George.
Our guide arrived on time and we were the only 3 people on the tour.. The van was comfortable, but we arrived late due to traffic en route. The guide was excellent and knowledgeable, but in a little bit of a rush since he had a 3PM tour after ours. The sites were ok. I guess my expectations were a little different from reading the description.
Our guide, Hugo is very knowledgeable. He shared with us the historical info of Guimaraes etc and walked through the sites with us. He’s patient and at times humorous with my kids.
Andre was the perfect guide. He topped his explanations with very interesting anecdotes. We were lucky in having him! untile next time...muito obrigada!!!
