Your day begins with a pick up from your accommodation anywhere in Port Douglas from 11 AM and with a maximum of only 12 guests you are guaranteed personal service and entertaining commentary.

Traveling down the Captain Cook Highway – known as the second most scenic highway in Australia, whilst learning a fascinating and entertaining commentary of history, local issues and wildlife stories.

Your first stop is the multi award winning Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Enjoy a journey to Cairns over some of the oldest rainforest on Earth and magnificent views over the region. You will glide just metres above the canopy layers and deep into the heart of the forest at Skyrail's two rainforest stations for the ultimate tropical rainforest experience.

On arrival in Kuranda, hosts will meet and show you around this, 'village in the rainforest' famous for its colorful arts and crafts markets which are open every day. Stalls offer a wide variety of Aboriginal artifacts, handmade leather goods, wood and jewelry. Entertainment from passing buskers may also be enjoyed with plenty of cafes for lunch. Try some macadamia nuts, local honey, mango wine, homemade sweets or delicious homemade ice-creams.

After approximately 2 hours in the village take a journey aboard the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway, travel through the rainforest enjoying breathtaking scenery with waterfalls. Then head up the coast to stunning Palm Cove.

Seeing the palm fringed Esplanade before enjoying a delicious drink and cake (at own expense) over looking the picturesque beach. You can take a stroll amongst the shops and galleries, wander the beach and let the kids play on the playground. When returning to Port Douglas with new friends and great memories, be dropped off at your accommodation or restaurant and say 'good-bye' at the end of the fantastic day together.
