Full description
Experience diving on the Great Barrier Reef with a tour that puts divers first. Depart Port Douglas in the morning and set off for the spectacular Outer Great Barrier Reef. Board a modern, luxury vessel where the friendly crew will ensure you get the most out of your day on the reef - whether you’re trying SCUBA diving for the first time, or you are an experienced certified diver.

The purpose-built vessel boasts 3 large sun decks, 2 air-conditioned indoor saloons, a spacious dive deck, and a sunken platform for easy access in and out of the water. Find everything you need to experience the Great Barrier Reef in unrivaled comfort, and numbers are capped at 80 to ensure everybody has a great day. Throughout the day, take part in up to 3 dives at 2 exclusive reef locations, allowing you to see an abundance of marine life. The reef sites are chosen by the experienced skipper, depending on weather and sea conditions.

Arrive at your first reef location at about 10:30 AM. Certified divers will hit the water first. Certified divers can choose to go guided or non-guided during your time on the reef — it's completely up to you. If you have booked 3 certified dives you will take part in two dives at the first site before stopping for lunch as the boat is moved to the second reef location for the day where you will enjoy your third dive. The standard option on this tour is for 2 dives - 1 at each dive site.

If you would like to try diving but don’t have a diving licence, then why not try an introductory dive? You can see the underwater world in the care of an experienced instructor. While you're not diving, snorkeling is available for those that want to see the reef from the surface. All of the diving and snorkeling equipment required is supplied as part of your trip, including a wetsuit or stinger suit.

Enjoy a light morning tea, afternoon tea of fruits, cheese and crackers, and a tropical buffet lunch including a selection of cold meats, salads, and fruits. Complimentary tea, coffee, and chilled water are served throughout the day (snacks, soft and alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase).
