Full description
Florence: the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. In Florence, you will find some of the world’s greatest artworks, including Michelangelo’s David, which you’ll see in the flesh on this unique tour.

You can then cross the iconic and beautiful Ponte Vecchio with your expert guide. This bridge was once a secret passage for Florentine aristocracy, so they could make their way, unseen, from their palace to the government offices. Today, the river Arno slinks underneath it to create the most picturesque view of both the city and the rolling Tuscan hills.

You can stand outside Florence’s magnificent cathedral and baptistery, designed by maverick architect Brunelleschi. Your guide will point out Lorenzo Ghiberti’s bronze, Baptistery doors, with the delicately crafted Old Testament scenes being the highlight. Before your tour finishes, make sure you rub the nose of Il Porcelino, the wild boar. Folklore has it that if you do, you will return to Florence.
