What people are saying about Pisa
Eloise was an excellent guide. We were surprised that we were the only four people on the tour - we enjoyed our personal tour! We learned a lot about Pisa, its history, the duomo, and the tower. Eloise also provided suggestions on other sights to see in Pisa. We had no wait for getting into the duomo or climbing the tower. Great views of the city from the top of the leaning tower.
The tour timing was given as 2.5 hours when booking online, but it does not take into account that an additional half hour is required to climb up the Leaning Tower. David, our guide, spent too much time on some spots in the city on the way to the tower and hurried us up at the Tower location. Perhaps some more time should be allocated for being at the Cathedral and the Tower
Appointment to visit the tower was great. The views were beautiful. Instructions should have explained that you just get in line fifteen minutes ahead of time and not go to the ticket office.
I was impressed how clean and beautifull this place is.... and the tour was great, the view from above is stunning. The only thing they can improve are the slipery stairs in the tower.
Prior knowledge about your bags having to be stored in a security locker across in the cloakrooms would of been helpful as NO bags are allowed up the leaning Tower of Pisa
