What people are saying about Pinacoteca Ambrosiana
We wanted to see the Last Supper and we did. Our guide was good and the tour was well organized. It is an expensive tour at 86 Euro but in Milan, the tour companies use the Last Supper to sell their tours since it is difficult for individuals to buy the 8 Euro tickets to see the Last Supper. I thought that we would learn more about Davinci but I guess that he did very little in Milan so the name of the tour, "In The Footsteps of Davinci" is a bit of a stretch and a bit of a let down. The tour includes his drawings and The Last Supper but excludes the walls he painted in the fortress. I would recommend this tour only if someone wants to see the Last Supper and cannot get tickets but not on the merits of the tour itself.
Danke!
Fabulous tour, informative, covered historical areas that I wasn’t aware of, perfect pace. Our tour guide was brilliant; so well educated in Milan history and targeted the information to a level that we could understand. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Milan.
Had to go this route because it seemed hard for individuals to get tickets. Glad we did the tour. Our guide gave us plenty of information. Some walking involved.
Wow, what a great exhibit. Leonardo was a true genius. Amazing the ideas he had. This exhibit gives a good view o& his work. Definitely recommend.
