Great day. off-roading was awesome and seen lots of dolphins.

The jeep itself is crowded, but as the roof opens its great. at the off-roading part you can stand up and that's just too much fun. The driver was awesome and knew lots about the area and history. very helpful and we had a lot of fun with our group. seen some beautiful sights and felt very safe the whole time. After the jeep tour, the driver walked us to the catamaran tour office before heading of. that service was well appreciated as wel. The catamaran was big and spacious and we could walk up and down to see the ocean. the ship stopped at a very pretty sight so we could swim the bright blue waters. we did see dolphins at this tour. The crew alerted as soon as there were dolphins and it was a big group with babies and all. the captain informed us that disturbing the mamals was not allowed and we could stay for a maximum of 10 minutes. The photographer took pictures and at the end of the tour we bought that for 10 euro. great souvenir. took a bus back to our hotel. great day!

Santana to short visit, witch is the picture above, very sad

Waking up early to go around all the hotel,, waste of time 4 passengers as to many hotels to drive to,, lucky no passengers wanted to do the toboggan,,, cannot believe if 1 wanted to do it,, we would all have had to wait,, the time 4 the walk is to long as we have less time in SANTANA, much interesting. Plus it is the picture above,,, the lunch was inside, what a shame we could have lunch on the terrasse ?? In the fresh air?? starter was a soup, In summer time is that a joke?? The salad came after with the main dish,,, sad we did not get a local meal, typically from Madeira,,,,

Good but not as good as West Island Tour

The itenary on this tour was not as good as the west, the stops were short and the places of interest not so interesting, not as scenic as expected, too commercial and the levada walk was nice but again short. The meal was poor and practically thrown at us by the waitress. Not worth the extra for the meal, I would suggest do the tour without it.

Good group leader, good scenery and good food

The group leader picked up on time, the bus was equipped with voice amplification which was good for the people in the rear of the bus. We were given an interesting commentary as we toured around this scenic historical area, well done Kate? We had the lunch which was good, home made and pleasant change to Hotel grub.

Good way of exploring this part of the island

A lot is crammed into the day with numerous stops. The lunch was very good but we would have preferred a tour without a compulsory three course lunch. Overall a very good day with an enthusiastic guide.
