Quick entrance and informative tour at own pace

This was a last minute booking to avoid queuing in the hot sun - skip the queue access into the Basilica with the bonus of a self guided audio tour. Firstly it worked - front of the line access then easy to get audio tour (app download) just inside the Basilica. The tour was actually very good - we went round at our own pace accessing information as we went. I felt this way we got more out of our visit than if we’d just wandered round. Entrance to the Basilica is free but on a very hot day this was a life saver for me.

The most beautiful place I’ve ever seen.

Saint peters basilica is the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited my entire life. Truly spectacular. Depending on when you visit and overall amount of tourists the skip the line ticket may not be necessary. On the day I’ve visited it may have save me a little time but not a ton. I returned the next day and was able to pretty much walk right in without waiting in line. Either way visiting the Basilica is an absolute must.

Well worth doing self guided tour, you can wander at your leisure

Wait in line was 3/4 hour, once I got in I didnt know where i had to go to collect the information, plus it would have helped to know to dowload the app, and tobring your own head sets, or you pay 1 euro to vet them from desk. The gentlemen at the desk Massimo I think his name was excrllent, downloaded via wifi, and then explained how it works. Apart from this, I always love visiting st Peters, thanks

Fantastic, skipped the queues and got out of the heat.

Skipping the queue was great, as we got there at 10.30am and the queue was huge. We found it a bit difficult when we first got there trying to find where we had to go to skip the queue, but asked a person who we thought was a tour guide, but he was the person who validated out tickets and in we went, so we walked straight in, which was great, especially with 2 children.

Skip the line was nice due to the hot temperatures and crowds.

It was great to skip the line, but the meeting point was unclear and the entry by way of “reserved entrance” seemed more like butting/pushing our way into the security line. Once in the basilica, movement through to the audio guide desk was muddled. You also needed to get on the wifi to download an app. The basilica itself was a wonderful site to see.
