Top attractions in Perth
Perth in western Australia is set along the Swan River and the Indian Ocean and it gets more sunshine than any other city in Australia so it is the perfect place for being outdoors. Take a walking tour for sightseeing in the city that the mining boons created. Hear stories about pioneers and events that shaped the city. Explore beautiful gardens and see the Swan River. You'll even discover the best bars in town.
Take a combined coach tour and river cruise and see Kings Park, Cottesloe Beach, the Western Australia cricket ground, and the Perth Mint. While cruising down the river, you can enjoy the architecture and views along the Swan River including the Swan Bell Tower.
On a walking tour of historic Fremantle, the port city of Perth, you'll see the scenic town with its dock and warehouses. But a good guide can bring to life the stories of the Aborigines and outlaws who pasted through this port. Art galleries and museums display local art.
You can see the natural side of Fremantle at one of the beaches or by taking a bushwalk in the city park. For snorkeling go to Rottnest Island with its reef to see the underwater wildlife.
What people are saying about Perth
Rory the guide gave fun, informative commentary as we made our way to and from Claisebrook Cove. A sparkling sunny day was enhanced by the quiet operation of rhe solar powered ferry, a bijou little craft that gave a very comfy ride. A wonderful way to see Perth from the water! Highly recommmended.
Nothing too much trouble for guides Gav or Nat. Transport fine and all visits very worthwhile and interesting particularly the Pinnacles. Amazing sunset and truly memorable dinner under the stars. Comfortable journey both ways and the sandboarding an absolute blast!
This was an amazing afternoon and night. Star gazing amongst The Pinnacles was awe inspiring and really capped off an amazing adventure.
The tour was excellent but there was a lack of help as you arrive on the ferry. A few signs directing you to the right place would be helpful!
Cassie was an excellent tour guide. Walked at a steady pace, was patient when people stopped to take photos. Was concise with facts and figures and had a good sense of humour. Would recommend doing this tour at the start of your holiday to give you a feel for the central Perth area. She showed us how to get around on the trains which was really helpful. Highly recommend.
