Full description
Passau's magnificent St. Stephen's Cathedral is located at the old town's highest point. Whilst up at this vantage point you will be able to look admire this cathedral, which is of the most important attractions in Passau, in detail.

The current church, a Baroque building around 100 meters long, was built from 1668 to 1693. Whilst visiting you will be able to examine the cathedral's famous organs, which have continually been added to over the years.

The organ is really several separate organs of different tonal styles, which are all accessible from one or more consoles. The cathedral also plays host to eight large bells which sit in the bell rooms in both the north and south towers.
