Great chocolate, great guide

This time we chose the option of guided tours in German, which probably helped us to get there exclusively with our guide Roberto. Roberto is an enthusiastic chocolate lover, very amusing and has impressed us with his knowledge and his direct manner! The chocolate shops selected were versatile and the chocolate tasted really good. 5 stores with 1-2 samples each and a cup of hot chocolate at just under 30 degrees outside temperature and we were bottled. ;-) If you think about what 1 piece of chocolate costs in the shops (> € 1.00), the price for this experience is not bad. We enjoyed the walk through the district and would recommend Roberto, the organizer Meet the French and of course this tour without reservation !!

Enlightening!

I bought this tour as a gift for a friend and colleague (birthday and leaving present combined) who is also a huge chocolate fan. Even he was amazed by the new world that was opened up to us - never before did I realize the artistry and intricacies of the (good) chocolate industry. I don't think i'll ever look at chocolate the same and i'm pretty sure there are some brands i'm never going to touch again lol. Our guide Arelle (I can't remember how to spell it sorry!) was excellent, knowledgeable, professional, friendly and just great company and fun. I am definately going to try another tour, they're such great ways to spend time.

Wonderful chocoate indulgence while taking in the sites of Paris

My 15 and 11 year old daughters and I enjoyed such wonderful chocolate indulgence! We sampled macarons, Hot chocolate, and so many chocolate treats. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about all there is to know about chocolate and also shared much about Parisian history, culture and information about some of the wonderful sites we saw along the way. She was friendly and pitched the tour at the right level for my girls. A great way to see Paris! Highly recommended and great value!
