What people are saying about Paris

Best guide ever. Make sure you get the same Australian guide !

I have been quite a few times to the Eiffel Tower and must admit I did not look forward to go there again but felt obliged since there were a few family members who hadn't seen the view and heard the story about the tower. However, we wer fortunate enough to get an Australian guide (I guess his name was Lindsay) who was so competent, flexible and entertaining so the guided tour turned out to become a real interestering visit to one of the most fascinating and iconic iron structures in the world. The guide knew so many anecdotes about Eiffel himself, but also about historical persons that have visited the tower so time just passed very quickly. I have been travelling twice around the globe and have had guides on many corners of the globe; When riding in Mongolia, diving in Sipadan in Malaysia or when visiting French Polynesia but this was probably the best guide I ever had. Engaged, competent and very careful about that adapt to the level of each participant in the group.

Excellent tour with loads of info and facts I never knew

What a great experience. We met our guide in the concourse area and waited in line to get tickets. Our guide told us many great facts about the tower and its design and building before we even got through the ticket gates. The lift ride wasn't a long wait and as there are two floors on them, the queues were faster moving than I expected. Once on the second floor we were given time to take a few pics and look around before the tour continued. The guide then instructed us to the queue for the lift to the summit and we proceeded up. The tower has wonderful views of Paris and we could make out quite a lot of the famous attractions. My daughters are both uneasy with heights, but this was one trip they were adamant they were going to make. It did not disappoint...

Well organized but not the greatest headsets

Our tour guide was well organized especially with as large as a group she had (no larger than any other Versailles tour group). She had tickets ready, even marked the return train tickets so we wouldn't get it confused with earlier tickets. Wish the tour group's headset equipment worked better. I kept having problems with mine so I had to keep playing with it, moving the wire around or where the headset was inserted. This took away from the experience and was the worse headset of all the headsets we used on various tours and with different tour groups. I wasn't the only one with problems so the guide had to constantly swap out sets for people. Very distracting and time consuming.

The best for an entertaining tour of the castle!

Our guide in Paris, Guiseppe, brought us to Versailles with no problem and even gave us advice on how to come back to our hotels afterwards. He was friendly and explained everything very well. Our guide in the castle was the best. She gave us the inside scoop of the lives of the kings and queens and on how the society in Versailles worked. She told us everything in a very entertaining way and could answer all our questions. She was really lovely and I'll never forget her enthusiasm (and her adorable flower!). Thank you for an amazing experience, much better than any audio guide!! I loved it!!

Ann-Sophie was possibly the best guide ever! Tour was excellent.

I do a lot of tours and I would have to say that Ann-Sophie was possibly the best tour guide I've ever had. Her knowledge and understanding of the topic were faultless. She was able to communicate well with the group. I've visited Versailles several times now but I got so much more out of the experience with Anne-Sophie's commentary.
